Peak Surcharge details

All packages sent through Amazon Shipping will incur a per package fee of $0.50 from November 24, 2024 to December 31, 2024. Shippers with a weekly volume of more than 20,000 packages during any given week in peak will also be subject to a weekly surcharge based on the percentage of packages that exceed their Baseline Weekly Volume** during this period.
As set forth in the Service Guide, additional surcharges will apply if individual packages meet the criteria for Additional Handling, Large Package, and/or Extra Heavy fees. The amount of those surcharges will be increased during peak season as reflected in the table below.
The Additional Handling fee will not be applied when the Large Package fee is applied. There are no additional weekend pickups fees or residential surcharges. Please refer to the Service Guide for more information.

* Peak surcharges are a subcategory of Demand Surcharges outlined in the Service Guide.

** Baseline Weekly Volume is a customer’s average weekly package volume from June 2, 2024 through June 29, 2024. For shippers with no weekly package volume before June 29, 2024, the baseline will be determined by the projected volume as provided by the shipper at the time of intake. This surcharge will be applied on a weekly basis from November 24, 2024 through December 31, 2024 to all packages exceeding 105% of a customer’s Baseline Weekly Volume, but only for those customers who ship more than 20,000 packages in any given week during peak. The highest applicable surcharge amount will apply to all packages that exceed 105% of a customer’s Baseline Weekly Volume during peak. For example, if a customer’s weekly volume during peak is 175% of their baseline, then each package above 105% of that baseline will be assessed a surcharge of $2.35 (not just those packages above 150% of the baseline).
